Walks group: Seaton Cliff Walk Arbroath
Our next walk on Tuesday 21st July 2026 is a coastal walk exploring the Seaton Cliffs starting at Auchmithie.
A direct train to Arbroath leaves Stirling train station at 8.10am (8.41am at Perth) arriving at Arbroath at 9.19am. It is a short walk to the bus station where the bus to Auchmithie leaves at 9.50am (10 min. journey). Those who would prefer to come by car should meet up at the bus station in time to catch 9.50 bus.
The dramatically scenic walk back along the Seaton Cliffs to Arbroath railway station is 5.5 miles.
Return direct trains to Stirling are at 15.23 arriving in Stirling at 16.44 (return fare -£32.60 or £21.70 with Railcard) OR 16.27 arriving Stirling 17.45 (return fare - £20 or £13.30 with railcard). There are alternative trains which stop at Bridge of Allan and Dunblane but these require a change at Dundee.

Walks group: Around Ben Shee, Glen Devon
This 10km circular route around the lower slopes of Ben Shee includes a section along the Lower Glendevon Reservoir as well as areas of young native woodland and views across the Ochils.

Visit to Kirklands Garden in Saline
This garden has been in progress for 40 years. It has a lawn and herbaceous borders, a bog garden and stream, a rhododendron bank, a walled garden, rockery and it also has plant sales.

SURSA’s Spring Lunch will be held on Wednesday 20 May 2026 at 12:30pm in Stirling Court Hotel.

Reputed to be one of the best woods for bluebells in the area, with a wide variety of native tree species in an ancient woodland.

Christmas Walk, Perth
The December walk on Tuesday 16th December is in Perth and Christmas lunch has been booked for twenty at the Bistro at the Black Watch Castle and Museum for 1pm.
