The walk is about six and a half miles and at a reasonably leisurely pace, taking around 4 hours.

There is a stretch that can only be done at low tide but with a start of 10:45am that will be fine.

Approximately half way there is a cafe at the Eco Centre at Kinghorn Loch. We suggest stopping there for lunch.

The meeting point is 10:30am at the Links car park, postcode KY3 9DY. There are toilets (30p charge).

The journey from Stirling is about an hour.
