Visit to Kirklands Garden in Saline

Stephanie has arranged a visit to Kirklands Garden in Saline on Friday 22 May between 2pm and 4.30pm. The garden is in Bridge Street and the postcode is KY12 9TS.

This garden has been in progress for 40 years and is still an on-going project. It has a lawn and herbaceous borders, a bog garden and stream, a rhododendron bank, a walled garden, rockery and it also has plant sales.

Kirklands will be open to the public that day and on this occasion we have not asked for a special day for SURSA, but Fridays are usually fairly quiet. Admission is £6 and tea/coffee and home baking will be another £6. We can pay the £12 on the day.

Parking at the house is limited but there is parking in the centre of the village which is only a short walk away. Saline is a half-hour drive from Bridge of Allan.

If you would like to come along on 22 May please let Stephanie know, not Maureen. She has promised to let the owners know what our numbers are likely to be.
