Dawyck Botanic Garden and Kaizie Garden

Friday 16 May - 9:15am to 6:00pm
We should reach Dawyck in time for coffee before seeing the garden. It is primarily an arboretum but has many rhododendrons and azaleas. Our coach will then take us to Kailzie for lunch followed by a visit to the garden in the afternoon when I hope to have a guided tour laid on.

Our next garden visits will be to the Peebles area to see two gardens: Dawyck (pronounced Doick) Botanic Garden and Kailzie (pronounced with a silent z).  The date is Friday 16 May leaving PC World Car Park in Stirling at 0915 by Dochertys  coach and returning at 6 p.m.  We should reach Dawyck in time for coffee before seeing the garden.  It is primarily an arboretum but has many rhododendrons and azaleas.  Everything is well marked so I have not asked for a guided tour.  The paths are well laid out but some are quite steep.  Our coach will then take us to Kailzie for lunch followed by a visit to the garden in the afternoon when I hope to have a guided tour laid on.
The cost of this day will be approximately £21 each which includes the coach travel and admission to both gardens but does not include coffees or lunch.
If you want to come along on 16 May can you please let me know as soon as possible so that I can confirm the coach and the lunch and my bookings for the gardens.  I will be away for 8 days from 3 to 11 April so it would be very helpful if you could contact me before that.
I look forward to hearing from you at stephanietytler1@yahoo.co.uk.
