Kathleen writes, ‘With the help of a slideshow, I shall recall the preparations, the planning and the trek (supported by a local Peruvian team) that I undertook in September 2011. As expected, it was a real challenge for I am not in the normal course of events an exceptionally fit person. Bizarrely, the expedition was made possible by a fall. Despite the inevitable struggles with high-altitude ascents, the trip turned into a dream come true. I hope you'll come and share my memories.’
