Carse of Lecropt circular, Bridge of Allan

Meeting place and start point: 10.30, Station Road, Bridge of Allan, at the former ‘Bridge Inn’ opposite the old mill.

Many SURSA walkers will be familiar with this rural ramble, last offered in January 2022, which affords excellent 360-degree views of the carse and further afield towards the Touch Hills, Ben Ledi and the Ochils. It is on metalled roads throughout and largely traffic-free.

There are public toilets at Provost’s Park on Henderson Street and several coffee shops and catering outlets.

Please let Bill know if you intend to join the walk.

(This walk replaces the previously scheduled Palace Rigg Country Park, Cumbernauld, whose principal walking route was felt too short to justify the return drive.)
