On the way we met three members of the Giles family who had been driven up to the top of the glen. Alison then joined us on the walk up the glen, back to the car, and then drive down to collect the other two members. This had been pre-arranged!
After a lunch stop beside a burn, we walked back down the glen along a path which is normally rather muddy but the weather had been so dry that there was no problem. The day was beautiful and some of us met at Mhor 84 for refreshments before going home. It was a great day and we were so lucky with the weather.
