In Cottrell 2B74 Angus Annan and Peter Kemp, two former directors of information services, will hold an open conversation with audience participation on IT challenges faced by retirees.
A range of issues will be addressed such as:
** personal IT security, and the precautions we should take using on-line banking
** social media (Facebook etc)
** pros and cons of desktops, laptops and tablet computers
** how best to keep up-to-date re use of computers and possible developments in computing to help older people
